Nepal is currently responding to a major flash-flood situation that began in the northern Rasuwa region near the Nepal–Tibet border. The flooding has affected areas along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems, with downstream areas including Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan impacted or placed on alert. The situation remains dynamic, and humanitarian response efforts are ongoing.
From the AIESEC in Nepal network, we have individually checked in with our AIESECers and EPs, and everyone has been reported safe. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and maintain direct communication with our members and EPs.
AIESEC in Nepal is also preparing a relief collection initiative across Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and Butwal, with collected supplies to be channelled through credible humanitarian organizations already responding on the ground.

As the Government of Nepal has directed monetary donations for the flood response to be deposited through designated government channels, AIESEC in Nepal will not be collecting or routing financial donations through AIESEC accounts.
