Medellín is known for its mild climate year-round. The city’s official tourism guide lists average temperatures between 16 °C and 26 °C, with high humidity and frequent rain, so it’s a good idea to pack light clothing and a waterproof jacket.

The main international gateway to Medellín is José María Córdova International Airport (MDE).
Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) is located within Medellín and primarily handles domestic flights.

Important note regarding check-out: Rooms must be vacated before the tour begins, as the day trip lasts almost the entire day and hotel check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Since passengers will not be at the hotel at that time, if they leave their rooms unvacated, the hotel reserves the right to charge the corresponding fees or, failing that, the amount equivalent to an additional night’s stay. For this reason, it is recommended to check out before departing for the tour and leave luggage in storage.
