Our Team

AAI activities are the responsibility of the Global Executive Board, comprised of a President and at least 2 VicePresidents, and elected by the General Assembly in a democratic process. After a General Assembly and an EB is elected, the President is then internally voted within the team.
The Regional Presidents are independent leaders of their Regional organizations, with independent statutes, constitution, and governance. Regions collaborate with AAI based on separate signed agreements and help coordinate finance and operations with National Alumni Associations.
The Management Team (Marketing / Platform / Membership) and Support Team (Finance / Legal / Partnerships) drive the day-to-day operations of AAI, including marketing, membership, legal and technology teams. They are fundamental enablers of our global, integrated organization.

Executive Board

Anuj leads the Executive Board and Regional Presidents to coordinate our global network. Anuj represents AAI at meetings with the AIESEC Supervisory Group, and leads the strategy for our overall improvement and growth. He is a private accountant based out of Montréal, Canada, and travels frequently for work and for pleasure, always visiting AIESEC friends.

As Executive VP, Aldo leads back-office and front-office operations of AAI. This includes Membership, Marketing and Communications, and Platform Operations. Aldo previously led AIESEC Mexico as National President and Vice-President, and was also part of the US National team. Based in Mexico City, he has an economics and technology background and is a partner in real estate, retail, consulting, and tourism businesses.

Based out of Prague, Sergio has been in the AAI EB since 2022. As our Head for Finance, Legal and Technology, he ensures we have a foundation to operate legally and with compliance from our base in Switzerland. Sergio was part of the Mexico National team in 2006. Today works as a Global IT Manager at Emerson and enjoys his time with his wife and two kids.

Regional Presidents

Carlos Numbela is the President of AIESEC Alumni Iberoamerica, leading strategic alliances, and generating value for all the members in the region. Professionally, he has been a Business Manager with outstanding experience in Marketing & Sales in multinational companies. He is currently Regional Manager of the leading payment media company in Bolivia.

In 2021, Chris was elected President of AIESEC Alumni Europe and re-elected in 2023. Christiane has been with AIESEC Alumni Europe since the beginning. Chris spent her AIESEC years in Leipzig in exchange and as LCP. She also volunteered for AIESEC Donetsk (Ukraine) and AIESEC Bologna (Italy). Has been President of AIESEC Alumni Germany 2013-2018. Professionally, Chris is a Director in the Automotive industry.

David is the Regional President of AIESEC Alumni Asia Pacific, leading activities in 23 countries. He created the Global Myanmar initiative. He has held roles in AIESEC International as PAI, and President of AIESEC in Australia. Professionally, he's currently a Principal at MBL Consulting in Melbourne, Australia.

Tony George is the President of AA Middle East & Africa, formerly VP Finance, formerly Executive Director. He joined the EB as the Liaison to AI and AAI. He is also supporting the AAI as the Internal Auditor. With a background in Economics and an MBA, he works at the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (eiti.org) where he is the Head of Remediation in the Nigeria Office.

Support Team

Daniel Schütz is the General Counsel of AIESEC Alumni International. He’s an independent lawyer living in Switzerland with his family. He supports AAI with legal advice and provides its official address, and is happy to give back to the network that shaped him.

As Global Partnership Director, JC offers organizations to collaborate with AAI to provide value to our members. JC was LCP of AIESEC UNPHU in the Dominican Republic, and then NC member. He studied Business Administration, with a Masters in marketing and another in Business Administration. With a long career in global business, he currently also runs a real estate company as a private capital investment.

Management Team

Abou served as LCP at UCA and later as MCP in Côte d'Ivoire. His journey continued as member of AA Colombia and later AAMEA. Since 2021, Abou has been part of the AAI Management Team, currently serving as Global Marketing and Membership Support. Professionally, Abou works in education and marketing consulting. He is also a writer and the founder of Global Bridge Consulting Solutions (GBCS).

Amparo Elisa currently serves as Membership Manager Director at AAI, where she contributes to global alumni integration and engagement strategies. Previously, she held positions at AIESEC as VP Exchange & OC; active alumni in Europe and Iberoamerica. Project Leader, Mentor & Consultant in Marketing, HR, and education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability (global inclusion strategies) at international institutions.

Aravinda is an Engineering and Management Consulting professional specializing in Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and is based in Houston, Texas. He served on the Board of Advisors for AIESEC at the University of Georgia (UGA) until 2022. Aravinda volunteers as a coach and mentor to students and young professionals, including AIESECers, who are passionate about management consulting careers.

Caio is a sociologist, co-founder, and current Vice President of the National Association of Sociologists of Brazil. He has an academic background in medicine, law, art and technology. He worked at AIESEC for over six years in different areas, also worked with local and international NGOs and banks. Currently building community projects and AAI Management Team.

As part of the Management Team, JC contributes to global alumni engagement and strategic initiatives. He previously was Local Committee President in his native Celaya, Mexico, and MCVP Marketing in South Africa. Professionally, JC works in education and communications, language teaching, educational technology, and nonprofit communications. He is passionate about fostering inclusive leadership and lifelong learning.
