AIESEC Alumni International

Through its memberships, the association will continue to promote international and cross-cultural understanding, in line with the founding principles of AIESEC, for the professional and personal development of its members and the good of society.

AAI was founded 1986 when some active ex-AIESECers, exPAIs and exNCPs among them, started a new chapter in AIESEC history in Budapest, Hungary, shortly before the world started to change again - this time towards democracy and freedom.

AAI´s mission is to provide an international platform through which former AIESEC members and associates can continue to interact, contribute to and actively gain from a continuing involvement with AIESEC and the Alumni of AIESEC. AAI actively promotes the ethics, values and culture of AIESEC within both the professional environments of its membership as well as other external environments.

We want to continue
- to develop socially responsible, culturally sensitive, proactive agents of change
-to make a difference in society and the life of the individual
-to fulfil the role that AIESEC plays within society through an Alumni body

AAI opens the floor to those members who want to continue with activities on an international level reflecting the AIESEC spirit that rises above and beyond culture, race, sex, citizenship, religion, economic system, branch, hierarchy and generation. We welcome all those who were active in AIESEC at a national or international level.

Looking forward to hear from you and to meet many of you at the coming conferences!

2012/2013 Board elected!

Tapolca/Hungary, Feb. 19th, 2012
AAI reports an extremely successful conference in Hungary on the occasion of its 25th anniversary and AIESEC Hungary's 40th anniversary.  Work activities included the presentation and discussion of a report entitled "Unleashing AIESEC's Global Alumni Potential".  In the AAI General Assembly, Executive Board (EB) elections were held and there were some changes made to the statutes.  A full report is forthcoming, and updates will be made to the AAI website in due course.

The newly elected EB members include David Epstein (US), Hiro Kinashi (Japan), Sudeep Malhotra (India), Andrew Rowe (US), Lionel Simons (UK), and Bernd Thomas (Germany).  Following the election, the EB elected David Epstein as its President. Further organizational decisions will be forthcoming.

The new EB thanked Victor Loewenstein and the the outgoing EB members for their devotion to AAI and is hopeful that each of its members will be available to help AAI implement its growth strategy.  David also thanked the Organising Committee, AI, the AAIM chairpersons and all participants for an incredible conference!
